It is an improvised imagery that I had no plan beforehand. I followed where the drypoint needle went when it touched the plate.

I included nets, fabrics，rubbers and picked up unwanted spare plate in various forms to construct an image that is neither restricted to nor within the square shape of the intaglio plate.

The plate was burnt, then itched in acid using aquatint, making an ashary-looking burnt texture as the background. The airy blank embodiments were left through the negative space of the plate that was cut by thin saw blades.
