Xi Lily Li
Born in Shenzhen (China) in 1995, moved to New York in 2011, Xi Li graduated from Cornell University majoring in Fiber Science and Apparel Design with a business minor in 2018. Her master study in New York University is focusing on interdisciplinary study, the intersection of art management and artificial intelligence. She currently works as an independent curator, artist and designer based in New York. She is a recipient of Kuhlman Award and her work“Traditional Craftsmanship and Modern Label” was exhibited in Jill Stuart Gallery.
Peasainté is Xi’s graduation collection. It challenges the aesthetic standard that is based on gender differences, encourages people to think beyond current fashion trends, and to explore the relationship between masculinity, femininity and universal beauty.
