Kunjin Jiang

Graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institutes in China in 2017. Now living and working in New York. The artist likes to express people's living space through performance art, installation, video photography, etc, as well as exploring the complex relationship between people. At the end of 2018, she finished two performance art <Can’t Stop When It Begin> and <Invisible Line> in Manhattan, New York. She also joins the MFA Fine Arts program at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), and never stopped exploring and thinking about art.

Tenacious growth, 2018, Performance

The work was taken on the shores of Pelham Bay Park in New York. In this cold winter, homesickness is getting stronger. I likened the body to the weeds beside the coast, grabbed into foreign soil, and grew tenaciously.
