Nero Chenxuan He

Nero Chenxuan He is an architectural designer based in Los Angeles, California. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities School of Architecture. Born and raised in Beijing China, He studied aboard in Copenhagen and worked in Amsterdam, Minneapolis, and Beijing. He participated in several distinct projects from skyscraper to an airport in Zaha Hadid Architects. In 2018, He as design lead working with Dream the Combine was one of five finalist of the prestigious MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program (YAP) competition and won the final competition which allowed them to construct an architectural installation, Hide & Seek, in the courtyard of MoMA PS1. He is currently in the program of Masters of Architecture in Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). 

Xin Liu

Xin Liu is a future-facing architectural designer, film-maker, and photographer. Based in Los Angeles, California, he is currently a Master of Architecture candidate at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc). Previously, he was an architectural designer at Sheppard Robson in the United Kingdom. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Architecture with Honors degree from the University of Liverpool School of Architecture. His work has been exhibited many times in Liverpool, Beijing, and Suzhou. Xin Liu is traveling around the world examining both natural and built environment through design, films, and photographs.

Architecture has always been considered as serious and dogmatic discourse. However, it is a process of making the future. The play in architecture embraces all possibilities. Could it be an aggregation of parts? Could it be a story of man versus the rest of the world? Could it be make-believe? Could it be a deception? Could it be intimate? It is nothing yet it is everything.
